Bessie (Tackett) Kingrea

Bessie (Tackett) Kingrea, 89, of Beaver, Ohio, passed away on February 3, 2026. Bessie was born in Robinson Creek, Kentucky and later moved to Beaver, Ohio. She loved gardening, flowers, and quilting. She especially loved the Lord and her family. Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Nathan and her daughter, Guida Mae. She is survived by three sons, David B., K. Ray, and R. Allen, three grandchildren, Stephanie, Nathan, and Staci, and four great-grandchildren, Noah, Evie, Tommy, and Amelia. Bessie was also blessed with multiple brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews that she adored.

Visiting hours will be held from 3-5:00 P.M. Friday February 6, 2026 at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday February 9, 2026 at the Little Creek Old Regular Baptist Church in Pikeville, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Compton Family Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service Monday at the church. Services in Kentucky are under the direction of the Hall Jones Funeral Home.
